Tesla’s (TSLA) India office is refunding early reservations of its Model 3, a sign the company is planning to start sales in the country, Alisha Sachdev of Bloomberg reports, citing emails. Customers who had made reservations bookings back in 2016 received an email, saying in part, “When we finalize our offerings in India, we will reach out in the market again. We hope to see you back with us once we are ready to launch and deliver in your country.” Days ago, Elon Musk said in a post on X that he’ll visit India later this year, Bloomberg points out.
