Tesla (TSLA) is expected to unveil a more affordable version of its best-selling Model Y SUV, Reuters’ Abhirup Roy reports. The car expected to be unveiled Tuesday is an “affordable” vehicle based on current manufacturing and design platforms, according to the report. Tesla on Sunday teased an October 7 event. In a nine-second video posted on X, formerly Twitter, the automaker showed a vehicle with its headlights illuminated in a dark setting. The company hinted at an event scheduled for Tuesday in a separate video that had “10/7” at the end.
