Barclays analyst Lauren Bonham lowered the firm’s price target on Telus (TU) to C$19 from C$20 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares as part of a Q1 preview. The firm says the “attractiveness of defensive” for the cable sector is limited by sustained promotional pricing pressure and volume headwinds in core telecom segments.
