Telomir Pharmaceuticals announced the appointment of Dr. Itzchak Angel as Chief Scientific Advisor. Dr. Angel, in collaboration with Telomir’s senior management, will look to expedite the pre-clinical and clinical path of Telomir’s lead product candidate, Telomir-1, a novel small molecule designed to lengthen the DNA’s protective telomere caps, which are crucial in the aging process. Dr. Angel was previously the Head of Pharmacology at Synthelabo.
