Goldman Sachs analyst James Schneider reinstated coverage of TaskUs (TASK) with a Sell rating and $12 price target after its Q3 results and guidance. The company has taken the right steps to protect its business and solidify its customer relationships, but the secular industry headwinds posed by Generative AI will be difficult to overcome in the long run, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Goldman adds however that the company’s CEO recognizes the disruptive effect of AI, and has undertaken several initiatives such as internal AI tools to boost agent productivity.
