The National Basketball Association, National Basketball Players Association, and 2K, a wholly owned label of Take-Two (TTWO) Interactive Software and publisher of the “NBA 2K” video game series, announced they have agreed in principle to terms for a new multiyear global partnership expansion. In addition, 2K has also agreed in principle to terms to extend its longstanding relationships with the NBA G League and USA Basketball. As part of the ongoing partnership, the NBA and Take-Two Interactive are also launching NBA Take-Two Media, a “modern entertainment company that will bring fans and players together through competitive gaming, social-first content, original programming and live events.”
