Sysco COO Greg Bertrand to move to non-executive role on January 1, 2026

In a regulatory filing, the company stated, “On November 17, 2025, Greg Bertrand, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Operating Officer of Sysco (SYY), notified the company of his intention to transition to a non-executive officer senior advisor position for Sysco, effective January 1, 2026, in preparation for his retirement. In connection with Bertrand’s transition into the role of a senior advisor, the company and Bertrand have entered into a strategic advisor agreement, effective January 1, 2026, for a period of at least nine months. Bertrand will retire at the expiration of the Advisor Agreement. Pursuant to the Advisor Agreement, among other things, Bertrand is expected to provide at least 20 hours of services per week to the company.”
