In 1Q25, the company provided a pre-production lot of new products for optical connectivity in data centers. In addition, in 1Q25, the company hired more engineers and added dedicated leadership on the product line for critical optics used in the new generation of U.S. defense integrated scopes. Tailwinds are a positive factor. Due to the increasing deployment of artificial intelligence, there is a growing need for optical connectivity in data centers. Driven by the military’s effort to modernize equipment, there is a growing need for integrated optics scopes. Simultaneously, Syntec Optics is progressing with establishing scalable optics manufacturing solutions for next-generation U.S. defense scopes while fulfilling orders from last year.
