BofA raised the firm’s price target on Synopsys (SNPS) to $625 from $575 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Synopsys has received approval from all jurisdictions for their proposed $35B acquisition of Ansys, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Ansys tools are well positioned as the simulation leader has ~15% exposure to semiconductor market, the firm notes.
