Swiss lawmakers to compromise on $22B UBS capital plan, FT says

Swiss senior parliamentarians have told UBS (UBS) executives they would create a compromise related to the new rules as Bern finalizes a decision on how much capital the bank should hold, Mercedes Ruehl, Ortenca Aliaj, and Simon Foy of The Financial Times reports, citing people familiar with the situation. The compromise on the finance ministry’s proposals would increase its capital requirements by $22B, the sources added.
