Goldman Sachs analyst Christine Cho raised the firm’s price target on Sweetgreen (SG) to $5.60 from $5 and keeps a Sell rating on the shares. Restaurant stocks have outperformed the S&P 500 year-to-date, supported by optimism around potential tariff relief, stimulus, and tax cuts, which could boost household consumption, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Despite this, roughly 40% of companies are projected to report negative same-store sales growth in 4Q25, indicating mixed near-term results, Goldman says.
