Super Micro (SMCI) co-founder Yih-Shyan Liaw pleads not guilty to U.S. federal charges of helping smuggle billions of dollars’ worth of Nvidia (NVDA)-powered servers to China, Bloomberg’s Bob Van Voris reports. Liaw was charged in a scheme to send U.S.-assembled servers containing Nvidia’s chips to Chinese customers in violation of U.S. export controls. A trial in the case is set for November 2 before U.S. District Judge Edgardo Ramos, Van Voris notes.
