Stratasys selected for multi-million dollar U.S. DoW manufacturing program

Stratasys (SSYS) announced that its parts-on-demand business, Stratasys Direct, has been selected to take part in the U.S. Department of War’s, DoW, Joint Additive Manufacturing Acceptability, JAMA IV Pilot Parts Program, a multimillion-dollar initiative to accelerate qualification and deployment of 3D-printed parts across military platforms and systems. As a Program of Record for the U.S. Air Force and Naval Air Systems Command, Stratasys continues to expand its role in advanced manufacturing across aerospace and defense production environments, building on the successful deployment of thousands of systems worldwide. Unlike aspirational additive manufacturing initiatives in defense, Stratasys Direct, the contract manufacturing division of Stratasys, delivers qualified production-scale parts to defense organizations for operational use across active platforms.
