In a regulatory filing, StoneCo (STNE) announced that Pedro Zinner has informed the Board of Directors of his decision to resign from his position as CEO, effective March 2026, for personal reasons. Zinner assumed the role of CEO three years ago. The Board intends to nominate Zinner for election to the Board of Directors at the next general shareholders’ meeting. In connection with this transition, the Board of Directors has appointed Mateus Scherer as CEO, effective March 2026. Scherer currently serves as CFO and Investor Relations Officer.
