Stellantis (STLA) is aiming to exit its U.S. battery joint venture with Samsung SDI (SSNLF) as the car maker looks to unwind its electric vehicle bets and attempts to save money after announcing an over EUR22B charge last week, Bloomberg’s Gabrielle Coppola and Albertina Torsoli report. The automaker has been looking at ways to divest from the joint business, though no final decision on the matter has yet been made, the authors say, citing people familiar with the discussions.
