BofA analyst Ebrahim Poonawala upgraded State Street (STT) to Neutral from Underperform with an unchanged price target of $143 following significant underperformance versus closest peer BNY Mellon (BK). State Street management appears set to raise strategic targets later this year, adds the analyst, citing CFO John Woods comments during BofA’s annual financial services conference in February.
