Starbucks (SBUX) plans to lay off 61 corporate staff in its technology unit at its Seattle headquarters, Reuters’ Waylon Cunningham and Neil Kanatt report, citing a WARN filing. The cuts were not included in the company’s announcement last month that certain tech jobs would move from Seattle to Nashville, the authors note.
