A spokesperson for Spotify (SPOT) told Varriety that recruitment ads for Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the platform ended late last year. “There are currently no ICE ads running on Spotify,” a Spotify spokesperson tells Variety. “The advertisements mentioned were part of a U.S. government recruitment campaign that ran across all major media and platforms.” The news comes a day after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis, the report notes.
