Spirit engineer to head Wichita site after Boeing deal closes, Reuters reports

Sean Black, the chief engineer at Spirit AeroSystems (SPR), will lead the supplier’s Wichita, Kansas, site after Boeing (BA) completes its purchase of Spirit later this year, Reuters’ Allison Lampert reports. Black will become general manager of Boeing Wichita, and hold responsibilities for parts of Spirit’s portfolio in Prestwick, Scotland and Belfast, Northern Ireland, letters from Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope and Spirit CEO Pat Shanahan say.
