Stifel lowered the firm’s price target on S&P Global to $603 from $629 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Ratings and Indices revenue has been impacted by tariff-related market volatility, but the rest of the business has not experienced a material change, notes the analyst, who is lowering estimates “a bit, at a high level,” to account for Ratings and Indices expected challenges. The firm’s lower target reflects a combination of slightly lower estimates and lower comp valuations, the analyst noted.
