Barclays analyst Jared Shaw raised the firm’s price target on South State (SSB) to $117 from $115 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares as part of a Q2 earnings preview for the mid-cap banks. The firm believes valuations in the group still largely underappreciate an improving operating and regulatory backdrop.
