In a regulatory filing, Sonos (SONO) said that on April 7, the board of directors appointed Hugo Barra to the Board, effective immediately. Barra was appointed as a Class III director for a term expiring at the 2027 Annual Meeting of Stockholders or until his successor is duly elected or qualified. Barra has not been appointed to any committees of the Board at this time. In addition, on April 7, Michelangelo Volpi informed the Board of his resignation as a member of the Board and of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of the Board, effective immediately. There were no disagreements with the company on any matter relating to the company’s operations, policies or practices that led to Volpi’s resignation.
