Some flights to resume at Heathrow Airport after fire, AP reports

Heathrow Airport will resume some flights after a large fire at an electrical substation knocked out power to the hub and disrupted global travel for hundreds of thousands of passengers, Brian Melley, Danica Kirka, and Jill Lawless of The Associated Press report. The airport hopes to be in full operation on Saturday, according to the report. At least 1,350 flights to and from Heathrow have been affected. Publicly traded companies in the space include Alaska Air (ALK), American Airlines (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), JetBlue (JBLU), Southwest (LUV), Spirit Airlines (SAVE) and United Airlines (UAL).
