SoftBank (SFTBY) is reportedly the buyer of the former General Motors’ (GM) plant owned by Foxconn (HNHPF) in Lordstown, Ohio, Bloomberg’s Edward Ludlow, Min Jeong Lee and Debby Wu, reported Friday. The company wants to use the site to manufacture AI servers as part of the Stargate data center project being led by SoftBank, OpenAI and Oracle (ORCL).
