Truist lowered the firm’s price target on Smurfit Westrock (SW) to $50 from $53 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after its Q1 results. North America corrugated volumes were down 7.4% per day in Q1, though April volumes improved to down 4% as the company continues to lap tough comps and given a notable shift in market tightness as it is currently sold out on almost all paper grades, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
