Smith-Midland Corporation has begun renting its J-J Hooks precast concrete barrier to the Virginia Department of Transportation, as part of the I-64 Gap Widening Project in New Kent County, Virginia. The total value of the project through its Concrete Safety Systems rental division is approximately $3.8 million.
