Stephens analyst Russell Gunther raised the firm’s price target on SmartFinancial to $27 from $26 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares as the analyst took over coverage of the stock. Net interest margin is poised to steadily inflect higher and should SmartFinancial hit its second half of FY25 target of about $50M in quarterly revenue, related levels “favorably compare to our above-the-Street $46M and translate into an above-peer ROA +1%,” the analyst tells investors.
