SK Telecom (SKM) disclosed it suffered a leak of customer data earlier this month caused by a cyberattack, Reuters reports. The breach was detected on April 18 and was described as a large-scale leak of data due to malware. The company intends to start offering universal subscriber identity module replacements to all 23M users for free at over 2,600 retail stores nationwide. Shares of SK Telecom fell approximately 6% following the report.
