SharkNinja appoints Linus Karlsson as Chief Creative Officer

SharkNinja (SN) has appointed Linus Karlsson as EVP, Chief Creative Officer, effective March 3. Karlsson joins SharkNinja with more than three decades of global experience in creative leadership, brand building, and marketing innovation, most recently serving as Chief Creative Officer for IKEA. Karlsson will sit on SharkNinja’s executive leadership team working out of SharkNinja’s global headquarters in Needham, Mass., and its soon-to-open Creative Design Hub in New York City. During his tenure at IKEA, Karlsson led the company’s creative direction and strategy across product development and global marketing. Prior to IKEA, Karlsson held leadership roles at creative agencies. As Chairman and Chief Creative Officer for McCann-Erickson’s global brands group, he oversaw creative strategies for Mastercard, Nespresso, and ChevroletBefore that, he co-founded Mother New York, pioneering campaigns for brands like Target, Johnson & Johnson, and Stella Artois. Karlsson has served on the boards of Queen Silvia of Sweden’s World Childhood Foundation, the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, and Elanders Group, a publicly traded global logistics and supply chain company.
