SES AI (SES) unveiled Molecular Universe MU-0, the company’s groundbreaking battery material discovery software and service platform, in a highly anticipated demonstration that offered the public a firsthand look at how this innovative tool could shape the future of battery development. Molecular Universe is designed as an advanced toolkit to map the entire realm of possible small molecules relevant to all battery chemistries, including Li-Metal, Li-ion and Sodium. The platform is an AI-augmented discovery suite that accelerates R&D by recommending new molecules to solve users’ real world problems, all through a map of molecular properties, a natural language based navigation system, and an intuitive interface. “MU-0 is just the first release, but it is already being used by two OEM partners.
