U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders said in a post on Bluesky, “I’m proud to stand in solidarity with Hilton (HLT) Hotel workers in Houston who are on strike against corporate greed. If Hilton can afford to spend $2.9 billion to buy back its own stock and pay its CEO $28 million, it can afford to pay workers a living wage of at least $23 an hour.”
