Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley sent a letter to Fair Isaac Corp., also known by its acronym FICO (FICO), announcing his intention to investigate the company’s pricing practices in the mortgage credit scoring market. The Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and member of the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy, and Consumer Rights requested that FICO produce a number of documents and information “in furtherance of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s investigation into potentially anticompetitive practices in the credit scoring market,” the letter stated.
