Needham analyst Scott Berg downgraded Semrush (SEMR) to Hold from Buy after Adobe (ADBE) announced the pending acquisition of the company for $12 per share. The firm, which assumes the sale process was competitive, does not expect a higher bid, but given that it views the take-out valuation “as relatively low” it adds that an over-the-top competitive bid is “not out of the question.”
