The SEC has voluntarily dismissed its 2023 lawsuit against Binance and CZ that accused them of diverting customer funds, misleading investors, and more, Reuters’ Jonathan Stempel reports. The SEC was the last major regulator still pursuing Binance after a $4.3B settlement with the U.S. government last year that saw Binance founder Changpeng Zhao plead guilty and step down, while retaining much of his wealth. Publicly traded companies in the space include Bit Digital (BTBT), Bitfarms (BITF), Coinbase (COIN), Core Scientific (CORZ), Greenidge Generation (GREE), Mara Holdings (MARA), Riot Platforms (RIOT), Strategy (MSTR), Stronghold Digital Mining (SDIG) and TeraWulf (WULF).
