Saul Centers reported a steady core shopping center portfolio performance, but recessionary headwinds could impact Saul more than other REITs, given the risks around leasing up large developments during an economic downturn and by making some of its low interest rate in-place debt relatively less advantageous, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
