Saudi-owned MiSK raises Capcom stake to 6.04% from 5.03%, Gamebiz says

Electronic Gaming Development Company, a subsidiary of Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman’s MiSK Foundation, has purchased additional shares of Japanese game maker Capcom (CCOEY), increasing its holding to 6.04% of outstanding shares from 5.03%, Gamebiz reports, citing a “Large Shareholding Report” submitted to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau on April 6. MiSK Foundation is also the parent company of game maker SNK, which makes the “Fatal Fury” and “King of Fighters” franchises, the report notes. The Fly notes that Capcom develops and publishes titles in the “Street Fighter,” “Resident Evil,” “Monster Hunter,” and “Mega Man” franchises.
