Jong-Hee Han, the co-CEO of Samsung (SSNLF) and the head of its smartphone and consumer electronics business, has died at 63 years old after a cardiac arrest event, The Wall Street Journal’s Timothy W. Martin and Yang Jie report. A Samsung spokeswoman confirmed Han’s death, saying “Our deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.” No immediate successor to Han was named.
