Salesforce (CRM) is in talks to acquire Informatica (INFA), rebooting a pursuit that fell through last year, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg’s Ryan Gould, Liana Baker and Brody Ford. If a deal is reached, it could be announced as soon as next week, though no final decision has been made and talks may still falter or another buyer could emerge, the sources are reported to have said. Shares of Informatica jumped $2.68, or 14%, to $21.88 in late day trading following Bloomberg’s report.
