Roskomnadzor, Russia’s state communications watchdog, has threatened to block Meta‘s WhatsApp from the country if it fails to comply with Russian law, Reuters reports, citing Interfax news agency. “If the messaging service continues to fail to meet the demands of Russian legislation, it will be completely blocked,” Interfax news agency quoted Roskomnadzor as saying.
