RTX (RTX) was awarded a $3.81B modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee, fixed-price incentive undefinitized contract. This modification definitizes Lot 18 F135 propulsion system production, as well as provides for the production of F135 propulsion systems in support of lot 19 F-35 aircraft production for the Joint Strike Fighter program for the Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, F-35 Cooperative Program Partners, and Foreign Military Sales customers. Work is expected to be completed in March 2028. This contract was not competed. Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
