Roth starts RealReal with Buy on positive business inflection

Roth Capital initiated coverage of RealReal (REAL) with a Buy rating and $17.50 price target The firm says the company is undergoing a positive business inflection that has gained momentum under CEO Rati Levesque. RealReal is a leader in the “rapidly expanding” luxury resale category and is well positioned to benefit from broader consumer resale acceptance and the inflationary pressure on primary luxury goods, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Roth sees “healthy” growth and margin expansion going forward for RealReal.
