Jefferies analyst Corey Tarlowe raised the firm’s price target on Ross Stores (ROST) to $205 from $190 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after having visited a Ross store on Black Friday and observed strong demand, elevated brand mix, and decent traffic. Premium brands were present and key categories such as beauty and footwear were heavily picked through, notes the analyst, who tells investors that these trends reinforce the firm’s bullish view. Ross remains the firm’s top stock pick for the holiday season, added the analyst.
