As previously reported, Rosenblatt analyst Mike Genovese upgraded Coherent (COHR) to Buy from Neutral with an $85 price target because the analyst is “upbeat” on sequential re-acceleration in AI transceivers by the second half of calendar 2025, driven by Nvidia’s (NVDA) Blackwell rollout, and coherent/ZR transceiver demand for DCI and Telco applications that is “very strong.” The firm is “bullish on the transceiver market through 2030” and considers Coherent to be “a long-term leader in AI Optics,” the analyst tells investors.
