Rivian introduces R2 line, deliveries begin later this spring

Rivian (RIVN) introduced its more affordable R2 line of SUVs, which will begin delivering this spring with a variant priced at $57,990 and roll out cheaper options in 2027. The R2 color lineup features three brand new choices: Catalina Cove, Half Moon Grey, and Esker Silver. “Built on an all-new mid-size platform, R2 offers a more accessible price point without a compromise in capability. R2 Performance with Launch Package delivers up to 656 hp, 0-60 mph in as quick as 3.6 seconds and an EPA-est. range of up to 330 miles*. It’s confident performance with everyday versatility,” the company said.
