Ribbon Communications names Rick Marmurek as CFO

Ribbon Communications (RBBN) announced that Rick Marmurek, Ribbon’s current Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, CFO and Chief Accounting Officer, effective May 1. He will succeed current CFO John Townsend who will be leaving Ribbon effective April 30 to take another professional opportunity. Marmurek, CPA brings more than 35 years of financial experience, including more than 15 years at Ribbon or its predecessor companies, where he has served as Senior Vice President, Deputy CFO and Chief Accounting Officer since 2024.
