HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced eight new members that will sit on the expert panel that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, on vaccine policy, and “said they would review the current vaccine schedule, as well as evaluate new shots.” These appointments follow Kennedy dismissing every member of the committee just days ago. Publicly traded companies in the space include AstraZeneca (AZN), Bristol Myers (BMY), Eli Lilly (LLY), GSK (GSK), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Merck (MRK), Novartis (NVS), Pfizer (PFE), Roche (RHHBY) and Sanofi (SNY).
