DA Davidson raised the firm’s price target on Regions Financial (RF) to $32 from $31 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Despite a weak Q1, earnings are expected to improve through 2026, driven by a recovery in loan growth, particularly in the second half, and continued credit normalization that should reduce provision expenses, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Regions Financial’s historically strong deposit franchise and consistent top-tier ROTCE performance further support a constructive outlook as momentum builds into year-end, the firm says.
