Truist raised the firm’s price target on Regions Financial (RF) to $28 from $27 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The firm maintains its 2025 and 2026 EPS of $2.30 and $2.55, respectively. For FY25, Truist has slightly better fee growth which is offset by higher charge-offs related to Office/Transportation/Tech credits. The firm also has net interest margin expanding more during Q4 instead of Q3 given less CD repricing opportunity in Q3 and more in Q4. For FY26, Truist has better loan and deposit growth driving net interest income, with net interest margin approaching to 3.70% by end of 2026. These are also partially offset by higher charge-offs and reserve builds.
