Ramaco Resources (METC) announced changes to its senior management and board. E. Forrest Jones has been hired by the company to serve as its new general counsel, bringing a career of legal experience in the minerals and coal industry. Jones has been a member of the board since 2021 and resigned as a director of the company effective March 14 to transition into his new full-time role effective May 1. In conjunction with his resignation as a director, he was honored by the board with the honorary appointment of director emeritus. Evan Jenkins has also been elected to the board and appointed as vice-chairman. Jenkins has served as the company’s general counsel and secretary since February 2024. Jenkins will step down as general counsel once Jones joins the company in the same role on May 1, but will continue to serve as Secretary.
