Qualcomm (QCOM) is considering making an offer for Alphawave (AWEVF), a London-listed semiconductor company which has a $1.3B market cap, Bloomberg’s Amy Thomson reports. Qualcomm must make a decision by April 29 to comply with UK takeover rules, but there is no certainty it will make an offer. Alphawave is considering selling itself after unsuccessful discussions with Arm (ARM), Thomson writes.
